Easy to prep, easy to grill, tastes delicious! How can you go wrong with this?

It’s the perfect summer dinner for family or entertaining the crowd. You can marinate the lamb a day ahead, then put it on the skewers and grill.


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Pounds Kebab/ Stew meat
  • 2 Medium onions
  • 1 Tablespoon coarsely ground coriander seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon coarsley ground cumin seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 Teaspoon ground Sumak
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper

    DIRECTIONS:

    • Put the meat cubes into a tightly sealable container.
    • Slice the onions into 1/2 inch strips. Mush the onions with your hands, so they juice out a bit, and add the onions to the meat.
    • Add all of the remaining ingredients to the meat and mix well.
    • Close the container and marinate for at least 4-5 hours.
    • When ready to grill, put the meat on the skewers and grill to desired doneness.

            You can serve the kebabs with zesty greek yogurt sauce made with fresh dill, fennel, and garlic. It goes well with a simple salad made with radishes, tomato, and greens.
